AETNA: I am excited to be an in-network provider for Aetna! Most Aetna plans cover SIX in-home appointments with NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES. Please let me know upon booking that you are an aetna member!

OTHER INSURANCE: Payment for your appointment is taken at the time it is booked. Although reimbursement is not guaranteed, you will be given a "superbill" to submit to insurance after our appointment. A "superbill" is a form completed by medical practitioners that allows patients to be reimbursed directly from their health insurance companies. Mom's are usually partially or fully reimbursed, but I recommend calling your insurance company prior to our appointment to confirm coverage if reimbursement is important to you. Some insurance companies will say that I am out of network, so you can ask for something called an "out of network exception."

The Affordable Care Act requires that all new insurance companies cover pre and postnatal breastfeeding support and supplies.
